I have been to several viewings at this FH. I have been horrified at how bad the deceased looked. Whoever is preparing these bodies needs more experience/education. I was there this week for a viewing and the mother of the deceased was horrified by the appearance of her son. You are devasting families and friends by the bad prepartion of the bodies. In reply to Joe Browne's complaint---Joe--We are sorry that you feel this way and understand your being upset. However, a funeral director can only advise a family on closing a casket. We cannot force a family to say yes to a closed casket. We are not ashamed of our work-we go farther than most would. We advise a family, but CANNOT force them to make a decision. We do what the family asks us to do after we have made our recommendations. We hope that your heart can rest in the fact that Tim is at peace.
