Funeral Home Reviews
Las Vegas, Nevada
This establishment is an absolute farce and you should refrain from doing any business with them. They failed to secure a priest for my fathers funeral and seemed lost as to how to rectify their failure at our greatest moment of need. The general manager, Todd Noecker stayed in the office and did nothing to help. Our family is deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care we were afforded. Do not entrust your loved ones to any establishment associated with this horrible funeral home. My father, Juan Guillen, deserved more respect.

They were friendly at first, but showed no attention to detail, they sent or Father's remains to the wrong address then stuck us with the bill to get his remains back, basically they said there were done and told us to call Fed Ex to pay and have them ship the remains to the correct address. When a loved one dies it is already a trying time, then when the funeral home you deal with makes it even harder with no compassion or willingness to fix there mistake it's just unimaginable. I would Not recommended anyone to use Desert memorial services if you want good compassionate correct service!

My brother and I chose Desert Memorial to perform our dad's cremation since their reviews were good and their rates were low. We dealt with Kristen Anderson, and we told her to ship our dad's remains to his former Kentucky address only if they could do so prior to his memorial service. Otherwise, she was to refund the shipping charge and provide me with instructions on when and where to pick up my dad's remains. About two (2) months after my dad's memorial service, Desert Memorial finally conducted my dad's cremation and sent his remains to his former address in Kentucky, without notifying us and against our prior instructions. They only told me about this after I inquired about it. Now, they are attempting to wash their hands of the matter, forcing us to attempt to clean up their mess, so to speak. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere, since no one wants to deal with this company's mistakes in addition to the pain of the loss of one's loved one.

Laura Sussman is the most compassionate person. She has the most difficult job and yet she does it with great poise and all effortlessly. Laura knows her bussiness well and is incredible at her job. She was always available to talk and ask questions and took care of everything you asked her. She made you feel at ease and comfortable knowing that your loved one would be taken care of with the most tender loving care. I highly recommend Kraft-Sussman to everyone.
