Funeral Home Reviews
Newport, Maine
My name is Barbara Beaulier, My Mother Eliza Lint past away Jan of this year, I did not attend , But did in May of this year when She was laid to rest at Coboro Rd. In Stetson. I made my Mother Eliza a very large spray of flowers to go on her Casket, They were there in Jan at Crosby's. So When Moma was buried in May I thought the Spray would come with her to the grave. I ask my sister where is Moma's flowers, Brenda said I don't know. I then ask Mike Crosby where is my Mother's spray. He was not sure at first what I was asking, He then said oh yes, I will go now & Get them, I said don't worry now. You can bring it back before the week is out, I was down to Stetson this past week, And guess what. That's right my Mother's very large Red & White roses & palm with wisterias were not there. ?????. Mr. Crosby I'm asking that you deliver my Mother Eliza Lint's Flowers, To the Coboro Rd. Stetson. Thanks >>> Barbara Beaulier. Portage , Maine

I found this establishment very difficult to work with in such a hard time of my life. The only thing a funeral home should provide is comfort and understanding. Not show a terrible attitude and ignorance. Shame on them!

Spanish Fork, Utah
Legacy Funeral Home in Spanish Fork, Utah that is run by Lance Nelson was the most memorable experience when it came to obtaining his service. I called many funeral homes around here on Memorial Day and all gave me ‘We will get back with you tomorrow.’ However, when I called Legacy Funerals, Lance came to the home within hours to help with arrangements. The prices were very exceptional and ideal as other funeral homes were way above and beyond our budget. In addition, Lance was available 24/7 and kept us inform daily along with great communication with everyone involved. Our family was so impressed with the way they took over things in a professional manner and helped us with our sorrow, along with willing to accommodate our traditions. Legacy Funeral is about helping the family with quality, NOT to make a profit!! Most definitely recommend Legacy Funeral Home to everyone! Thank you again Lance for everything, greatly appreciated!!!!

Alexandria, Indiana
Owens Funeral Home owner Mike Owens is a very clever man who gains a persons CONFIDENCE, then secretly changes the deal giving himself great advantage. If you must deal with him hire a good probate attorney, if not go to a different funeral home. Be careful he owns three in Alexandria and one in Summitville plus the Alexandria grave yard. I found him to be extremely dishonest and manipulative. I lost several thousand dollars.

8/2/13 I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone. Communication between Schleifer and my family was poor. Schleifer would only speak with family regarding decisions if confronted. He thought that he should speak with the deceased's friend for decision making. Plus, I am still waiting for a corrected death certificate from 4/26/13 due to Ted Schleifer's error and he is doing nothing to try and expedite things so my aunt can get what is due to her, but Schleifer made sure he was paid upfront for his services (if that is what you want to call them.) My advice is to stay clear of this funeral home and director.
