I've had a couple of close friends that have lost their mothers in the past few years. We've had many long talks about the loss they feel. What will I do without my cheerleader? Over the years I've pondered the meaning of trials and sorrow that my loved ones or I have endured. Some believe there are lessons to learn from hardship. I agree. Oakland City, Indiana
John and everyone were wonderful to our family. We thank you for helping us in this difficult time.

May I read again my condolence sent to Paul David Reynolds?

Alexandria, Indiana
Owens Funeral Home owner Mike Owens is a very clever man who gains a persons CONFIDENCE, then secretly changes the deal giving himself great advantage. If you must deal with him hire a good probate attorney, if not go to a different funeral home. Be careful he owns three in Alexandria and one in Summitville plus the Alexandria grave yard. I found him to be extremely dishonest and manipulative. I lost several thousand dollars.

Valparaiso, Indiana
Callous and unprofessional. They made a difficult time that much harder by their lack of helpfulness, lack of compassion and lack of respect shown to our family and our deceased loved one. I can give many examples but the three most hurtful were never offering their condolences to our family, never calling to let us know the cremation was complete, and, the most serious of the three, shipping our loved one's ashes to us in a used shoe box. They should not be in business.
