I was very displeased with the services rendered by the Smith Funeral Service INC My relative looked horrible and she was poorly taken care of even if it was short notice never in my life would I recommend this company to anyone. I am deeply dissatisfied. I felt so much disrespect because the funeral was barely over before they pushed her into the ground. These people should be ashamed of themselves for what they did. I WILL NEVER LOOK TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!! - ()

Mr. McIntyre & his staff provided outstanding service for the loss of my loved one. They went above and beyond to meet our every need. They were able to work within our budget and still maintain the services we were looking for. - ()

The Beggs family are the nicest, most considerate people that we have ever dealt with. We had always patronized the old firm in town that has been in business for generations. We are glad that we made the right choice this time. Attentiive, compassionate, courteous, professional and first class. We wish that would expand into the Columbia County market. - ()

They were very caring and attentive to our needs and requests. They are the only funeral home our family uses and their prices are very reasonable. - ()

I live over 2 hours away from Kamienski Funeral Home in Garfield, New Jersey now, however, as a child I grew up in the area and many of my family still live in the surrounding areas. Kamienski has taken wonderful care of all my family since I can remember. My mom, who now lives with me, wanted her funeral pre-paid and her arrangements to be made here in Garfield. The concern and helpfulness I received when making my mom s arrangements were genuine. You can t imagine what a relief is is to me to have all the arrangements done living so far away. - ()

when my aunt in law passed, my mother in law had the services there. since day on it has been hell with these people. its been over 2 months and my mother in law is still having to fight with these people. she passed in houma Louisiana and was transported to here. they charge my mother in law for the transport and said they would pay the funeral home that transported her. over 2 months later they still haven't paid for transport. the book marks they done are the worst ones I ever seen. the bookmarks were late and then all the dates were wrong. I would want my body throw in the garbage before I would want my family to deal with these people. stay clear. - ()

Chris is very good, the room is nice and large. My mother looked beautiful. I would rate it higher if one certain person could be nicer to family members. - ()

This was the first funeral home I had been to where I felt the funeral director was only interested in money. Small and not enough seats for everyone. He told me if I was going to stay that I needed to find a seat and sit. I informed him that there were not enough seats. He said there are 2. There were 20 of us standing. He tried to make the daughter of the deceased sit in the back. His "bed side manner" was terrible. He was rude and disrespectful. Telling everyone they needed to get to their cars after the service when they were paying their last respects. There were absolutely no one who lined up cars or even police to direct traffic going to the cemetary. He would speed up to 65 mph and many were left behind. They started the tent before everyone was there or even out of the cars. If you want a funeral home who appears to care for you, I do not recommend this Gerts Funeral Home in Brook, Indiana. - ()

In addition to all of the advertising, would it be possible to list the obituary so that those of us who live out-of-town could be informed? - ()

So sorry to hear about Mae, I loved her. She was a dear friend and colleague at the bowling alley. Don'y forget that she also was a member of the Portsmouth Women's Bowling Assn. Hall of Fame. - ()

they got my e-mail and never once informed our family of any written documents from any insurance agency and then began to charge us more than what they said would be the final price. we need proof before we pay legal proof. - ()

He's rude, crude, sloppy, now I know why. He hasnt got any compassion, or the understanding of dealing with people going thru loss of loved ones. - ()
