Foley did my friend Tim Hearn in July 2010 and it was the worst ever .
He should have never let the casket be open .

On behalf of 8 daughters and a mother, we want to thank Coopers and Jake Hebdon for the wonderful, very professional services provided. Jake came to the house and picked up my father. From the minute he walked in the door he made my 80 year old very comfortable. We told her he was "Jake from State Farm", she knew that commercial well. Then I found out that I actually worked with his mother and had known all about his career change and adventures in his new career. From that point on he dealt very well addressing questions and answers to my mother instead of all the girls. He answered her questions in a way she understood. She was able to make her own decision with as much time as she needed. She chose cremation but, did not want the ashes at the service. He took our special pictures to the floral shop so flowers could be arranged around them. He also contacted the Veterans associations and set up the arrangements for the military service. He even took some calls throughout the couple days with last minute questions we each had. I am disabled and can not walk or stand for only a few minutes at a time. Cooper's have an elevator which makes it very convenient for anyone with ambulation difficulties. I was able to use a cane instead of a walker or wheelchair because of the elevator convenience. The room was large and our party fit in there nicely. We felt all together. Some funeral homes have 2 small rooms and the people in the back feel separated and blocked off. In those visual ability is poor as well as hearing what people are saying. We were told by a person in attendance that this was the best funeral they have attended. I agree, my 2 brother in laws were allowed to perform the service. The floral shop owner is a long time friend of my parents. Like I said, we appreciate everything they did to make this day easier for us and they succeeded. I would recommend Cooper's Funeral Home to anyone.

Lola Howerton, is a pittiful excuse for a funeral director. She help to make my brothers funeral a total disaster. She never showed up at his grave side She continually made matters worse by discrespecting and being rude to several family members. THANKS YOU LOLA FOR MAKING A MY BROTHERS FUNERAL THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE COMMUNITY.

The McCarthy brothers could not have been kinder, more professional or more helpful to our family in handling the arrangements for my father. We had a real sense of the integrity of this family as they helped us during this challenging time. In this day and age it is wonderful to find a company that truly cares and listens.

As there is no compition for business in the surrounding communities this funeral home did not treat my family with "respect, dignity, and understanding" (as on Ertels funeral chapel website). Four Corners Funeral Chapel is also owned by the same owners of Ertels. Making our experience difficult. Not only did we receive misinformed information, but when trying to straighten it out, hung up on!
