The experience I had with this funeral home was unsatisfactory. There return calls when left message was poor. There was no communication between the employees.

Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service has changed. The staff is not as warm as it was at onetime. What Happened? Also, there is no longer any personalization there. They use to pride temselves on the way the bodies look, but the bodies look terrible. Bring back Henry Fuqua and Joann Wiggin.

Was called in to work on their Generator during hurricane Sandy. Generator is very old and parts would be difficult to find. located parts and found generator has furthr problems that dont warrent going any furthr. Customer does not return phone calls for payment. Made three calls to office and asnwering service keeps giving messages to client. No replies to messages inturn customer is avoiding payment for services provided. Poor business ethics.

I was a very close friend to the Violas "Fly" Boyd Family. I want all of your employees and directors just how greatful I am to you for helping this very heart striken family. They loved their family member and they neded peace. You gave them that. You ladies and gentlemna have the biggest hearts, somewhat you do not see anymore. I will be passing on the word through my church and family and friends just how big your hearts are. Continue doing what you are doing and God will continue to bless you. You performed a wonderful service and graveside burial, I was honored that you had the heart to help them, because they had no other place to turn, and God blessed them with you. Thank you so much. My brother and I chose Desert Memorial to perform our dad's cremation since their reviews were good and their rates were low. We dealt with Kristen Anderson, and we told her to ship our dad's remains to his former Kentucky address only if they could do so prior to his memorial service. Otherwise, she was to refund the shipping charge and provide me with instructions on when and where to pick up my dad's remains.
About two (2) months after my dad's memorial service, Desert Memorial finally conducted my dad's cremation and sent his remains to his former address in Kentucky, without notifying us and against our prior instructions. They only told me about this after I inquired about it. Now, they are attempting to wash their hands of the matter, forcing us to attempt to clean up their mess, so to speak.
I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere, since no one wants to deal with this company's mistakes in addition to the pain of the loss of one's loved one.
