I was very disappointed in this funeral home. I think they have a communication problem inside the funeral home. The owner was told not to do my moms makeup but when I arrived to do her hair and makeup I did not recognize my mom. A man must have applied the makeup because my mom looked like a clown. This was not the only problem we had. I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone. They make too many mistakes. A grieving family doesn't need additional stress...thought it was the duty of a funeral home to help relieve stress....not this one.

On 12/5/12, I attended Ocie Sear's funeral. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but as I sat there during the service, I vowed I would let you know.
During the service, I became very, very upset with the noise coming from the office area. Do you realize that during Ocie's funeral, your phone rang THREE times. People came in and out multiple times. People were talking loud enough that I could hear their conversations in the service. I find it EXTREMELY disrespectful to the people who are grieving their loved ones. If that's going to be happening, at least shut the double doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Scott Greene and I own Greene Funeral Service in Gastonia,North Carolina.We had helped the funeral home on a death of a family that they were serving.We did all the paperwork,preping and had the deceased flown out to their funeral home.They did not pay us for our service.I would never trust them to handle anything for a family of mine.It is a poor thing when you can not trust a funeral home.So I would say watch out for them.
