I was very disappointed in this funeral home. I think they have a communication problem inside the funeral home. The owner was told not to do my moms makeup but when I arrived to do her hair and makeup I did not recognize my mom. A man must have applied the makeup because my mom looked like a clown. This was not the only problem we had. I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone. They make too many mistakes. A grieving family doesn't need additional stress...thought it was the duty of a funeral home to help relieve stress....not this one.

Your computer system is of no value, other than posting you phone number. I wasn't able to use it to find a funeral let alone the obituary. totally unacceptable.

We had a horrible experience. We were given false and misleading information. I actually had to educate the young funeral director on the facts of Social Security as he was confused to the law. After they changed the amount on the invoice, they actually told me that they were sorry that it was confusing for me. Believe me, I am not confused. They are greedy and shady.

Even though it was an extremely difficult time for our family, our experience at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, was extraordinary. From my first phone call with the Funeral Director, Mr. Lanza up to and including the morning at the gravesite, the Director was compassionate, professional and generated an outstanding example of what true customer service should be. Unfortunately, I did have experiences with other funeral homes during my lifetime, and they met my expectations to a degree, but I have never had such a pleasant and comfortable and dignified experience as I and my family did at the recent wake of our beloved, departed brother and uncle. Should you need these type of services, I would highly recommend Morton/Ridgewood Chapels. I would like to thank Mr. Lanza and his Staff for meeting and exceeding our expectations!

My father in law was in that funeral home.a rude is not the word for that man. We were under the tent after the service my husband and his brother and their Mother had not even got up.Mr. Sims had not told them there was any thing else he needed from them but. there was a small charge for the death date on the head stone the man could not even let them get up before her ask for his money.He had just been paid in full for the entire service.They certainly were not going to beat him out of a few dollars.They informed their Mother they would not take her there none of the rest of this family will ever go to those people. Needless to say they paid him right there by the grave side.
